Suggestions on how to get my 15 month old to turn up a sippy cup. He’s never really grasp the concept of lifting it up to get the drink out so he has always had a straw sippy cup but I want him to be able to use a regular sippy because the straw sippy cups always leak. 😕 I’m lost. Help please.

@hollieletcher01 lol I'm sure. I'm happy I don't have a carpet lol. I also only put water in sippy cups. So that when we do have spillage it doesn't matter too much
And when I say “leak” I don’t mean the typical leaks a little. I mean comes up out of the straw as if your ciphering it out.
@mommy1991, same but occasionally he likes to drink milk and it just doesn’t work for us 😂
Have you tried tipping it up for him while he drinks so he can see he has to turn it up
even tried sippy cups with handles and he still won’t turn it up.
@hollieletcher01, he will eventually figure it out especially if he is thirsty enough lol, one off my twins has trouble with drinking out a straw she keeps tipping it up lol but when she is thirsty enough she figures it out at that moment till she forgets how to again lol

At age 2, what kind of cup did your child start drinking from? The cups with a straw, sippy cup, or a regular cup?

Ok.. here's our new challenge taking away a sippy cup!! Aayden already drinks from a straw cup. Problem is... when he drinks MILK he drinks it when he wakes up (we're in the car), nap, afternoon snack, & bedtime. So therefore it's in a sippy cup. I was putting it into a straw cup but then the inside of the straw gets all nasty and is impossible to clean out. Anyone have any suggestions!? Idk what else to do. He drinks everything else from a straw cup.
At what age did u stop giving your kids a sippy cup and use "big kid cups" only?
What’s a good sippy cup to use for bed time and nap time? Noah only gets a bottle at those times or if we are running errands and he’s getting tired I give it to him other than that he uses sippy cups and he’s not picky with them
My daughter used a straw one and one day she learned on her own how to lift it. Also all sippy cups leak.
