Some people really have a lot of nerve! My hubby and I were out shopping with our 1yr old who now sits in the front of the carts. He loves looking around and observing everything. Mind you he just turned 1 and sitting in the carts is really new to him. Anyway as this lady was walking by us with her cart my son leaned over and grasped onto her cart. As I noticed this she was going to remove his hand off her cart at the same time I was! Like really!! I don’t know if she actually touched his hand or was very close to it! Seriously lady! Get your hands off my child. I didn’t think quick enough to say something to her until she walked away! What would you ladies have done in that situation? It’s not like he was doing anything wrong! Strangers should not in anyway touch somebody’s child, let the parent handle it! Ugh people! 🙄

Maybe because I’m new to this whole parenting thing and protective but if a kid did that to me I would have waited until the parents noticed or the kid let go. Some people are just bold I guess.

I'm protective as well, as most moms are. But to be honest, I would have said, "o I'm sorry!" to the lady and kept it moving. Your son was the one grabbing onto her cart, and she didn't actually ever touch your kid although she may have been planning on it. She was just going to move his had so she could keep moving, not to hurt or discipline him. 🤷♀️

Yeah, I’m not one to start a confrontation or anything it just took me by surprise. I’ll just have to teach him to keep his arms hands and legs inside the cart at all times lol

Well your son (you by extension) was in the offense. Her defense was to remove his hand from her cart. I get it though, our kids are our world... but maybe her world is her space and personal boundaries.
