My car tells me how much I’ve used. But if yours doesn’t. Fill up right before you go and again when you get back. Whatever you put in when you get back is what you used.
In older cars you can push that reset button and see how many miles you drive to get somewhere. On newer cars it is electric where you can record a trip, mine is set from my steering wheel. Then you can multiply the miles by the price per gallon you pay
@mamaof2soon, no I don’t mind. We lease so I have a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I think if you have the digital odometer it’s set from your steering wheel and if you have the manual there is that little button next to the miles that resets to record trips

Or just pay attention to how many miles you had when you left your house and how many you have when you get to work
