I never had any pros with the mirena heavy periods no stop spotting my hair was falling my skin breaking out and my daughter was conceived while I was on it
Well first time I had the IUD they lost it in my ovaries I had to get emergency surgery to have it removed scariest thing I ever went thru. Than after a couple months of trying the pills I went back and went to a different doctor and it was great I loved it my periods stop comepetly . I didn't have any pains or spotting just got it checked regular to make sure it stayed in place
Only been on birth control once for a little while only. It was depo shot and gained weight with it and my migraines were 10x worse and they are already pretty bad. That was 10 years ago. Havent been on bc since. But thinking of iud because i suck at pills and remembering to take them and i dont want anymore kids right now.
I asked the doctor to give me whatever is close to sterile as they have and she said less than 1% of women get pregnant on my IUD! If there would ever be a chance it would more than likely be an ectopic pregnancy but I’m happy with it so far I’m good for 3 years! 😊

I have the liletta iud and I love it! Regular periods from when they put it in!
