A two hour pedicure is reason enough to be upset. I went to the shop a few weeks ago and called a few days before and made an appointment with my usual guy. The new receptionist failed to tell my guy that I had an appointment, and he was stuck doing a bridal party. I waited an hour before someone even asked me if I had an appointment or even if I would like a refreshment. Another hour went by and my guy walked past where I was sitting and looked shocked to see me! That’s how I found out the receptionist didn’t tell him about my appointment. 30 more minutes and I had to sit with someone else! Ughh I feel you 😩 🤦🏽♀️
Let me clarify something. It wasn’t about the fact that he asked, it was the tone that he presented himself. I’ve been asked before but not in the tone that gave off such disrespectful negative energy. He gave me that , “I’m checking to make sure you can pay this bill kind of vibe”. I come in every three weeks and have three different colors on my nails. That was kinda insulting as a regular. I almost told him his suit was too tight and he needed to relax...

I had a dentist do this to me. I did a double take. But I brushed t off because maybe people have claimed over charges and such in the past.
I once was lost at a place I thought was a “farm and play place for families”. It turned out to be a fancy golf place and the lady tried to dismiss us by suggesting another place. This happened years ago and at that moment I just knotted my head and walked away. There is not much you can say to idiots. The older you get, the less you really have to say.

I was super upset when I wasn’t asked one time. They just assumed I was getting what my friend was getting and I kept waiting for them to ask. I should have been more assertive because I had to pay like twice as much. I’ve been there a few times and they have always asked which service I want and made it clear what the cost was and that time they didn’t.

Also, I don't require the services "explained" to me, they're LITERALLY written EVERYWHERE in EVERY nail shop I've ever been in and... I CAN read.
