Super tired but my daughter won’t ease up 🙄.. I can’t put her down without her screaming her head off. She’ll fall asleep right in my arms & soon as I put her down she’s screaming again. She hasn’t really slept since 1pm.. I’m blaming this one on breastfeeding.
Some babies are just super clingy. My youngest is attached to me still. Justice the best of it because next thing you’ll know she’ll be grown.
Yup that’s how my second one, we co slept because of that and we still do. He doesn’t need me to fall asleep anymore so i have to start putting Him in his crib and then move his crib to his own room because he can’t be in the room when the baby is born because he’ll be up every time the baby is because he’s a light sleeper 😅
@makeupmomplustwo_, that was maverick when i was strictly just doing the breast 😭 it’s gonna be hard not to do formula because he slept at least 2-3 hours witt that lol
@walkmavs_mom, I’m worried about having my sister watch her on the 20th and not having enough milk pumped cause you never know with kids
@makeupmomplustwo_, right and I’m going back to work after this one so i gotta make sure i have enough saved as well 😭
Mine loved to be swaddled and when they are newborns I would use my swing put a soft blanket in there and they liked the cozy feeling and me I personally loved them on my chest and smell their baby scent but,yes scary to fall asleep from how tired you are with a newborn
I tried the blanket too and she still wasn’t having it lol. I would love for her to lay on me all day but my daughter is starting to get jealous and sad. She cried last night so I had to put the baby down and let her cry so I can cuddle my oldest for a while
We went through the same with my youngest. We got one of those weighted sleep sacks and it did the trick.
But I know the feeling I slept with my son till he was 5 months old now he sleeps great in his crib.
She has the crib and the bed bassinet but she just won’t ease up 😩. She has to be directly on me. Right now I’m sitting down and she’s sleep on my thighs
@makeupmomplustwo_ yup that was my son it was very dificult to do anything, but I ended up sleeping when ever he did. Try putting the bassinet next to your bed so she can see you and put your hand on her!
@makeupmomplustwo_ try putting your hand on her so she still feels your touch.
@jenny955 yes! For the first few weeks I'd keep my hand on him and shhh until he settled in his crib. It's tough, but so so worth it. Now I just put my baby down and leave.
@two.tiny.texans yes I do the same I give him his milk, music with stars and walk away!
The big world is scary and you are safe and warm and familiar. If she needs your arms you can try laying on your side with her
I was going too but I’m super tired so I don’t want to risk falling asleep while she’s in the bed with me
@makeupmomplustwo_, what a friend of mine did was sleep with a swaddle so it smelled like her, then the next night swaddled him in that one and slept with a different one. Switched back and forth each night
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
I can't take kaceys tantrums anymore! I can't put her down without her screaming at the top of her lungs
Baby won't bear weight on leg
I have a walking 10 month old and she has been extra fussy yesterday and today. Today I noticed she didn't really want to crawl, she would just cry until I came and picked her up. After I fed her, I tried setting her down to play with her big sister and she just started crying and wouldn't put any weight on her left leg. She will put weight down on her right leg but then just cries until you pick her back up. I thought maybe she just didn't want to be put down (as ...
I don't care what ppl think of me, but I'm seriously considering putting my baby up for adoption. I love her with all of heart, but doing this alone is hard. Every single night she just screams to the top of her lungs and I do everything to soothe her. I don't know what to do at all. I wish I had some kind of help. I don't have a single ounce of help. I don't know a single soul in Minnesota either.
I just had to put Gabe down and walk away. I wish y'all could hear him screaming for no reason.
We went through the same with my youngest. We got one of those weighted sleep sacks and it did the trick.
