IDK how to teach my stepson to use the potty he knows were to go but it's alot easier to get your butt wiped but he keeps getting really bad diaper rashes. We have tried sticker chart toys candy he won't even try

I got to the point to where I just threw my son in underwear and pretty much said there you go. He’ll realize that it doesn’t feel good to be wet or poopy all the time.

I've tried that he peed on himself 4 times and it didn't bother him... But I also don't want pee all over the couch

Take away the diapers or pull ups. Once they have a couple accidents they get it.

How often do you take him? I am just starting to get my son, 2, into the swing of going on the potty. He's interested, so very soon I will start taking him every 15 minutes, and then after a few days, bump it to 30 minutes, then to once an hour. If you want it to work, you have to keep on him.
