Only dilated to a 2 and got my membrane swept!
Did getting your membrane swept help any of you guys go into labor?
I never had it done but a close friend of mine did the last 2 pregnancies and it made labor hit within 24 hours. This last time it was only a couple hours later she ended up in labor.
With my son, yes. But after my membrane sweep, I walked 2 miles, put up my Christmas tree, and cooked/ate a spicy dinner.. So staying busy also helps. The less you think about it and stress, the quicker it will happen. For me.
mine did a little bit still had to be partially induced though
Kinda I got it done at 37 weeks & had her at 38 weeks but we also had sex the day my water broke!
for moms that had their membranes swept, did it work for you?
experiences of getting your membranes swept ?
Has anyone had their membranes swept at 38 weeks?
Officially have the balloon inserted it’s not as uncomfortable as having my membranes swept that’s for sure 😐
Got my membranes swept today it was uncomfortable as hell but not painful... hopefully things get to going 🤞🏽
For me it did but only after I had sex. I got it done Thursday and before I got 10 min from the hospital contractions started. They kept happening but not enough to start labor I walked and exercised and nothing green Sat had sex was on the hospital that night. Had her Sunday morning.
