How old was your babies when they went into a toddler bed?

My son was around 11/12 months and my Daughter was around 15/16 months and same reason as you I moved her into the toddler bed because she kept getting stuck in the bars but it would constantly wake her up at night and she is very tall and needed space lol
Yeah osian is a fidget when he sleeps and is also tall for his age but that worries me that he is able to fidget more and climb in and out of bed haha stuck between a rock and a hard place🙈xxx
I put Noah in at a year, he hadn't tried to climb out of anything but I didn't want to take the risk so swapped him over and he loved it, slept alot better to as he used to get trapped in the bars x
My boy does this all the time the other night he got his hand stuck between the wall and bars to strocking the wall🙈xx
Theos still in a cot at 25 months. I have no intention of moving him yet, he's happy in there and doesn't climb out :) xx
As long as he is happy I'm not sure wether to or not with osian I'm leaning more towards him staying in the cot as I know he is safe and can't climb out xx
Chelsea's still in her cot at 19 months but I dont have any issues with her climbing or anything as yet (possibly as she isnt walking yet tho she does usually climb everything else 🤷♀️). She stands up in it but doesnt try and get out. As soon as I've brought the bits she needs then I'll move her probably just after new year, she'll be 22 months. Suppose it all depends on the child. I've known of some babies going into a toddler bed at 1yr even (with sides on obviously) x

Hamish never tried to climb out and used grow bags so never got limbs stuck in his cot. We changed him to a toddler bed so we could store the cot bed for second baby when we moved house he was 22 months. He sat up shouting me in the bed for ages before I explained he could get out himself and come get me. Moving him to a single bed with a rail next week as he’s getting too big for toddler bed now
