How soon after finding out you ladies were pregnant did you set a doctor appointment ?

I set it immediately, I found out just before 4 weeks but needed to start getting blood work done because of medication I am on. I didn’t end up seeing an actual OB until 6 weeks though.
I have asthma so I’m not sure if I should call them and let them know that
I stopped my medication because I didn’t know if I was able to take it
@queenbitch, I would at least call your doctor and ask. The first call I made was my neurologist because she has always told me to call her ASAP so we can keep an eye on med levels. If it is an important medication (which for asthma I would say it probably is) you should let them know you have stopped it and ask if it is pregnancy safe and if you are going to need anything adjusted etc.

I’ve tried avoid going outside because of all the fires
It’s so hard to breath
I called them today and told me they would call me back but never did so I’ll call them again tomorrow
I scheduled an appointment with my obgyn as soon as i get a positive test, thats because i am high risk and after that first appointment, they usually refer me to the mfm office to meet with my highrisk dr to dicuss our plan for a suncessful pregnancy.

@queenbitch, I dont think being nervous ever goes away. Just dont let the stress get to you because that isnt good either. congrats by the way!

As soon as I found out, I made an appointment to confirm pregnancy. Then had my first prenatal appointment at 8 weeks 2 days
They didn’t tell me to go so they can confirm it
All they told me was keep testing every other day to make sure the line keeps getting darker
First appt is usually 8-12 weeks bc nothing is purposeful prior to that window of time
Ok so what they told me at my clinic was correct
I thought it was weird but now I understand
Schedule it for when you’re around 7-8 weeks. There’s really nothing to do until then, unless you’re high risk then maybe ask and see what they want you to do.

Idk I was already half way threw before I figured it out lol so I only went to one visit lol for gender
