Need advice. Lice related. I finally got my daughters hair under control after a month of constantly cleaning everything and going through her hair. I watch my niece all the time and I find a little bit in hers here and there. Her parents said they treated the house and her hair but I’m not sure how well. I feel like it keeps going back n forth now because my daughter has it AGAIN! I’ve been spending every day going through it and it’s getting difficult to get under control again. I’m at the point where I’m thinking about just shaving her head. She is 3 yrs old my question is would any of you guys cut your daughters hair if you couldn’t get lice under control ?

I’ve tried mayo, all lice shampoos , I treat her several times a week. I have been noticing a bald spot I think from her constantly scratching and it makes me feel terrible. I have no way to isolate her from the other child that’s a frustrating topic.
I will try the oil and clean everything again. I contacted the other girls parents and hopefully they can work with me
I would treat it with the medication and then with suffer 8 medicated shampoo and oil and isolate her from the child and be done with it cause pretty soon it’s gone be her missing hair cause her hair is not strong enough to keep fighting the same issues
I wouldn't cut her hair. Put mayo in her hair and let it sit for a couple hours. It'll smother the lice.
