As of last night, I’ll never post another photo of my children on any form of social media. Done…

I deleted them off EVERYTHING last night. My Facebook & Instagram. I just read & seen some shit that freaked me out & I was already contemplating it & freaked out before but now it’s gotten worse after this last shit. I just kept clicking onto more shit & the more I read the more I just felt like “fuck this” & deleted everything. As well as made it public that no one was to post anymore. They can keep what is already posted because they’re already out there but from now on, no more.

yeah girl I feel you. I don’t have mine on any social media either. It’s sad cause my husband and I have a Facebook together that’s specifically for our family to keep in touch with our distant families and we can’t even share anything on it anymore because of how the world is now.

yup that’s what mine was.. my husband was using it until recently & now neither of us even have our names on there cause it’s just too scary anymore. I’m scared to list my name & number on the directory for the class at school because I don’t want people having that access. Everything is so scary anymore

Just read some scary shit that pushed my fears even further & now I just felt like fuck it I’m done with it so I removed all my kids pics & told all my friends & family they’re not to post anymore pictures of my children either.

Tbh, it was multiple articles I read after googling “human traffickers using social media” once you google, you’ll read more than you wanted to.

I know one of the news things I came across really freaked me out cause they were explaining how some dude managed to track a photo down to the local park it was taken at & then somehow was using the photos to literally track this little girl down to which bedroom in the house was hers. It was TERRIFYING. & it’s not something anyone can do, it’s people who know how to hack into wild shit so I just don’t feel safe anymore.

Yeah I never post them on here but I would on Facebook, Instagram & snapchat. But not anymore. I’ll post on my snap occasionally only because I got like 10 people & I know then lol. Other than that, I’m done.
