@halloweenmom, that’s what confuses me. If I leave him I’m lose my best friend he knows me bette then anyone and he been there through Everything especially with me being sick but if I stay I’m settling for being unappreciated
I’m sorry you’re going through that love😔 that’s super hard ! I can understand him seeing it as you guys are “basically” married but that’s the point, you wanna be ACTUALLY married. So what’s the harm in making you happy & feeling loved ? It doesn’t cost THAT much to get married & especially if you just did it at the courthouse. I can understand being upset. 11 years is a long time to dedicate to someone who you don’t feel is giving the same in return. I would talk to him about it & make it clear how you feel & what needs to change, or you’re gonna have to really think about yourself & the future & that may mean him being excluded from it if this is the direction he wants to take it. Because then you have the choice to make, can you accept things as they are & make the best of it? Or are you ready to let it go & move forward with your life? Either way, I feel a conversation should be your first step in the choice you gotta make.
Relationships are so damn complicated once honeymoon stages are over. Its definitely a journey to keep that 🔥 going. I am 13 years in and 2 kids. Honestly from time to time, we run into situations where neither of us see eye to eye. &’ It’s like damnnn, you really cannot put a time on getting to know a person cos everybody changes and sometimes it affects their perspective in life. You get to a crossroad where, you have to decide whether you wanna explore this new change together or go your separate ways.
