So how long did it take after your mucus plug coming out for things to start up? My friend has been having contractions since she was 35 1/2 weeks and now (37 weeks 4days) she’s able to feel them stronger and every 4 mins for about a min long. They keep sending her home from the ER cause she’s still not dilating more than 1cm. Her mucus plug came out last night/a little more this morning. My labor was totally different. They broke my water and started inducing me when my baby came. She wants baby out!

I was in early labor for a solid month with my oldest and lost it several times. I can say once I went into active labor it was fast. All that prepping did me a favor.

they woke me up from a dead sleep. I couldn’t function through them

no I could function through them prior. They hurt like a bitch and stopped me from doing whatever I was doing. At the time I thought they were horrible. But they got worse when I went into active.

This happened to me! I had very consistent and timeable contractions so I thought it was labour (since bh aren’t consistent) but got sent home. I had baby 10days later, 2days after my due date.

And same as above stated! Once I did hit full blown labour it was very quick! Woke up at 2am with my first killer contraction and had baby at 9:30am! Quick for a first timer.
