I use this product called bar keepers friend. It's amazing at removing rust

Bar keepers friend. Pour a little on and scrub with some water. If that doesn’t work try soft scrub with bleach. It also may help to add a magic eraser in while scrubbing with either of these.

I just spray bleach let it sit for a little bit, and then scrub it. You might have to do it a few times.

@mamaof2soon, oh wow that’s so odd maybe the surface was wet and got hot. Was the lid under the hot candle
