who has tried or is on the copper IUD. Did you like it? Did it work well? Side effects?
Eeek! that doesn’t sound good! And since I found out it doesn’t stop your period I’m just going to stay on the pill I’m on.
Mine already took it out coz im ready to get pregnant ‘i hope so’
Yes! I’d like it no pain while i have it no side effects but i still have regular period...
Copper IUD
I have it. I love it. No hormones is definitely a pro! My ob did mention if you have really heavy periods/clot alot during your period. She doesn't recommend it because it can make your period that much worse. My cramps are non existent(not sure if it's the iud or giving birth that helped), my periods are normal, but a little longer. So like 5-7days. First 2 days are light and then 2/3 heavy(normal) and spot towards the end. That's my only con the length.
@hakunamatata09, dang. I have a health problem that is triggered mostly by my period, ovulation and I wanted to see if I could stop my ovulation and period if I would feel better but I guess not. When I was pregnant i still felt some what sick not as bad and after I had my son I felt the best I have and I was breast feeding so I wasn’t getting my period. But once I started getting my period and everything again I started feeling pretty crappy again :/ and they don’t know what’s wrong with me so its tough.
@missjess I'm sorry! I hope you find something that works for you
@hakunamatata09, I hope so too! I’ve been taking seasonal but I’ve only been on it 3 months so it’s still kind of adjusting itself on me. And it’s a little hectic 🙍🏻♀️ and I’m having a bit of a hard time but I’m hoping it will maybe help. I mean I have to be on birth control either way so it’s at least serving that purpose lol
Just had mine put in yesterday so I'm following this post. The insertion procedure was a breeze but i was so nervous about it. And I've been bleeding & cramping since having it put in but that's normal
Following I’m considering getting it at my 6 week pp visit
graduate
What year did you graduate high school?
Random facts!
Did you know that Similac is short for "similar to lactation"?

We finally did it after 10 months!!!!
Did anybody get there update on there taxes
did she delete or block me ?
Pros: I don't have the hardcore cramping that I was told I would have, I'm not pregnant, I like that I can set it and forget it unlike a pill or a shot, and I think that the negative effects are less bad than other birth control.
Cons: my period started out being normal and lighter than usual, but then stopped for three months and when it came back it was like, scary heavy. Then stopped another few months and came back full force again. And now is gone again. Don't like that there's random spotting all the time. And I think I've got copper toxicity or my hormones managed to get messed up even though it's non hormonal bc apparently I've been a real bitch the past two years and I've gained weight and gotten hairy asf.
