Due dates usually change at the original ultrasound, not typically in the third trimester. Babies grow at different rates from second trimester on so the original ultrasound is typically the most accurate.
They grow faster in 3rd tri. And docs base measurements on weeks. An example being: My daughter's body, at 32 weeks gestation, measured 37 weeks. And her head at 35. My due date never changed. That does not mean her organs and what have you were developed at that time. Just that she was big. And she was fairly average/large-ish at birth, at 8lb 5oz.

Yes. Mine was 05/9 and changed to 05/7. It goes by how your baby is measuring I believe.

I've had mine change during yhr last trimester he was measuring behind so it was for Xmas than went to new years day and that's when he came .
