Is this a decent school lunch for a 3yo? I’m still struggling with lunches lol. I worked a morning shift today so I had a little more time tonight to prep. A croissant and veggies is a good substitute for a sandwich, right? Don’t mind the apples in water. I soak them so they don’t turn brown 😬

Looks about like what I pack my 5 year old lol she won’t eat sandwiches or bread so I usually do a zip lock baggie of either pepperonis or turkey that I’ve rolled up. Sometimes a lunchables but that’s not a lot cause she just eats only the meat out of it 🤦🏼♀️
Then I’ll either do one of those mini bags of chips or pop corn. Or a ziplock bag if I don’t have the pre packaged.
A ziplock of fruit. Usually strawberries and blueberries mixed up.
A ziplock or veggie. Cucumber slices or tomatoes cause it’s about all the veggies she likes.
And then some type of treat. Gummies, wafers , etc.
And a juice box or mini water bottle.
She gets pretty much the same thing every day just different little variations but she’s picky af and this way I know she’s actually eating

I pack like this too for my son! I can see why someone would say it’s too much but my son also has snack time and likes to bring snacks from home. I also like him to have snacks after school if he wants to eat something.

My son eats a lotttttt. He gets 2 snacks and lunch at school but whatever is left over (which sometimes is nothing) he eats for a snack before his nap 😊 the laughing cow snack is cracker sticks and a cheese dip.
