What do you/did you do to get your 11 month old to sleep? Nothing we do works😕 I dread the nighttime as I know it’s going to be 2-4 hours of tears😢 Right now we’re almost at 3 hours of him moaning and crying. He just refuses to sleep😭

Silly question but does he have a bedtime routine so he knows that it's time for bed? X

Yeah since he was about 2 months old we’ve always done the exact same routine before bed. He has his bath, I give him a little massage with baby lotion, put his pyjamas on, give him a bottle and then wait till we see him start to get sleepy. We do all of this with the lights off and tv off too. Every night usually ends in either one of us rocking him to sleep or he literally runs out of energy and eventually passes out. This is usually after a few hours of moaning and crying. We’ve asked so many people for tips but nothing works😕

Will he just not go in his cot like how do yous work it so far? Our adams been a nightmare he has to go asleep in our bed cos he bangs his head soon as i put him in his cot screaming so then i ust to get in wait for him to fall asleep but the minute i went to move he woke up n then stayed up refusing cos hed had a minute sleep. So now i let him fall asleep on our bed then move him n he's getting so heavy 🙈 Xx

We have tried him in our bed but he won’t sleep there either. Once we place him in his cot sleepy we say goodnight and leave. We watch him on the monitor and he’s fine at first. He plays with his feet, hands dummy etc and when it looks like he’s about to go he starts getting upset then he’s suddenly full of energy again. We’re in and out constantly trying to calm him down but the crying just gets worse and worse🤦🏻‍♀️

The bed time routine sounds spot on. I don't know if maybe bringing it forward a bit would help so he has a bit more time to relax once he's got his Pyjamas on. I ended up putting my daughter in her cot and shutting the door. She cried and cried after 5 mins I went in and lay her back down and patted her tummy and went back out. From day 1 it took 50 mins by day 4 she was in her cot without a moan. I don't know if you do anything similar with your son. X

I’ll give bringing it forward a bit thanks. Yeah we’re in and out for hours rubbing his tummy, his head or anything to calm him down but as time goes on it gets worse not better😕 Everyone says it should get better the more we do that but it’s the complete opposite😒

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
