Morgan did a little. It's quite commen, especially with boys. Too much they wanna say! I try to get them to slow down, take their time. It usually phases out. But can keep an eye on it.
Its literally just come out of nowhere....
And its like.. " mmmmmmmmmmmmum can we do this"
Just worried me as its sudden
X
Yes my daughter did when she was around 3 but she grew out of it . She didn’t need any therapy or anything xx
@laurabump27, I believe it did yeah! Is he otherwise well in himself?xx
@erincharlieconor yeah hes fine... think hes having abit of a spurt or developmental leap because hes growing up mega fast and had a few weeks where he was eating non stop too x
My lil man did a few months back with certain words then he just stopped especially words starting with S xx
@laurabump27, I noticed the more he had to say or if he was excited about something the more it happened, was like he had so much he wanted to say he’d get stuck on a word, especially words starting with S. I’d just tell him slow down and just think about what he wanted to say to me and try again or just wait for him to say what he wanted to say. I didn’t wanna put to much attention on to it as didn’t wanna make a thing out of it to him.
At first I was worried as he hadn’t done it before but it didn’t go on for long maybe a week or 2 then he just stopped out of the blue just like he started x
@laurabump27, ya welcome hun. They do like to keep us on our toes one way or another don’t they lol xx
My eldest suddenly started when she was about 2 and a half. She did it for nearly a year but grew out of it so didn't need speech therapy. I was told it was common and that they check before they start school etc. She used to say b b b b ball. We just used to correct her and try and slow her down xx
