I'll never speak down about my kids dad to my kids. It bothers me when I hear people do that. I know hes a POS but that's my kids dad, they dont see how bad he is right now. When they are old enough they'll see who he truly was.

Ya but dragging them threw the mud for 18 yrs isn’t gonna protect them that’s not fair to them either they should know so they can make there own choice if they already haven’t seen it

Me either but what do you do if he does it to you...
Pray for him because he's obviously an ugly person to talk down on his kids mother in front of them

Same here! We don’t talk about the older boys dad in front of them at all. If someone bring him up. I tell them he’s not active they don’t know him and they drop it befor finishing the sentence.

That’s good she never did. When he first stop showing in I lied to tell telling them he’s working and not sure when he be down. I didn’t wanna tell them the truth. Rather them think of him as a hard working man or something. Then after time they stopped asking it’s been 2 years now since he saw them. But he was not to active before either really. My man is the father figure in their life and he has been their the pass few years. They don’t call him daddy they call him bye his name. Their dad said they could but my man and I agreed not to let them till their older and understood the meaning more.
@autism.mommy at least they have a father figure who's active. I thank god for my stepdad, my dad definitely wouldnt have given me the life my stepdad did. My sister wasnt as fortunate bc she lived w my dad and grandpa. Stepdads are blessings

Yes, thankfully they do. It’s sad before we even got together their dad knew when our son BDay party was and he never showed up. Nobody did and we ended up going to his dads and step moms place to celebrate. I knew him few years working with him prior. We knew each other well and the boys knew him also so he was no stranger to them. We just happened to start talking few months after I left their dad. And asked if we wanted to go over to celebrate
