Aww I hope it all goes well and baby boy comes out big and strong!
I had my most recent baby at 35w2d. No nicu time (we don’t have a nicu up here locally) and he had a 4 day hospital stay due to not being able to regulate sugars. But he was totally fine and healthy.
My second kiddo was born at 29 weeks which was much more scary but even he came out okay (just tiny. 7 week nicu stay).
35 weeks is still pretty good though. Wishing you a healthy delivery and a speedy recovery. Good luck mama! You got this!
@kimberly_preemie-mom, yeah I got a steroid shot. Lol oh wow so I’m giving birth on your due date.
I just find it interesting my son was born September 16 and this one will be born October 17
@mommydiaz0505, awesome! The steroid shot will definitely help baby out! They’ll probably still have a respiratory therapist on hand just in case but the steroid shots are hugely helpful!
At least that’s a good break as far as birthday parties go!
My first is a July baby.
Second is September 15th (he’s the 29 weeker. He was due December 1st)
Third was September 14th! So I was in the hospital for my second kiddo’s 4th birthday and now those two will basically be forced to share bday parties forever. 😂
@mommydiaz0505, yup 3 pds ,5pds 7pds I had my first at 15 second at 18 ,third later now there 14,11,4 lol
I’m suppose to get induced today! Just waiting for a bed to open up to go in...
