It can be very normal for babies to still wake. My youngest still wakes most nights. You're not doing anything wrong.

You're doing absolutely nothing wrong. My little one woke every 40 minutes at night until he was almost 17 months. It's normal and not a bad thing. A lot of people have unrealistic sleep expectations for babies and toddlers, thinking that they will all be sleeping through by time they are 6 months when in actual fact a lot of them don't sleep through until they are at least 2 years and a few don't sleep through until they are 4. Some even later than this! We all envy the mother who says her baby is sleeping through the night, but you have to remember they are all different and you're not alone.

Just enjoy him being a baby, enjoy the cuddles in the middle of the night while the house is quite. There will come a point where you will miss them :)

I agree @jamie123 they are all completely different, my eldest wakes up through the night still my youngest wakes once there nothing alike, i think around that age there tryna figure out the body clock, your doing great and if it means yous get to sleep then enjoy his snuggles in bed it wont be like this forever 🤗 xx

Mine spent the majority of his nights in the spare room until my little boy went into his own bed. I felt bad at the time but we were actually talking about it the other day and he was more than happy with the arrangement. The baby needed me more than he did at that time, he didnt feel pushed out. I made time to spend with him a couple of evenings a week. I'd put the little one to sleep in our bed and we'd spend a couple of hours together.

My little boy longest stretch was at the beginning of the night, he'd sleep 8pm-10:30pm.

If you speak to your partner you'll probably find that he's actual OK with how things are and he understands that this is temporary. Things will go back to how they were, regarding sleep :) xxx

@jamie123 we only have a 1 bed flat at the minute and the sofa isn't comfy and will play havoc with her back xxx

I've had one of each. An amazing sleeper and one that still wakes some nights lol. I don't think I did anything different so I think it just comes down to the baby. There's nothing wrong with a 4m still waking needing feeds or just for comfort. I know it's tiring but in a bittersweet way you do miss it as they grow up!

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

What's annoying you at the moment??

What's annoying you at the moment?? Girls who blatantly claim, "I'm gonna use my looks to my advantage" really annoy me, and people who post political things on social media, also annoys me!
