I have to vent. My sons paternal grandma gave him soda and coffee yesterday. Today, he cried when he pooped and he’s having a tough time sleeping. Do y’all think it’s a coincidence or do you think it’s because his gma gave him that crap. He’s 11 months, is breastfed but we do formula feed sometimes.

For sure I felt him crying when pooping was a direct result of it. SO thinks it’s been too long to still affect him. I could slap both of them right now.

@whoswhoo, my grandparents and my parents went crazy with my oldest
They did what the wanted with him
My parents started with my 3 year old
But now it’s just my mom with my 20 month old
Specially since we’re Mexicans and my husband is Guatemalan so it’s 2 different cultures with different believes

I’ll probably never know. But my older brother told me that she probably thinks along the lines of, “I enjoy this. Baby will enjoy this. None of my other grandchildren had negative affects...”

Hell no not a bottle, I’d lose my shit for real. My older son told me about it and I’m sure it was just sips throughout the morning. Then sips of Coca-Cola in the afternoon.

lol. Well I had gestational diabetes so I’ve learned a much healthier lifestyle. I want to teach him better than I was taught lol. Plus, a ton of my students have ADD so I’m afraid to subject my kids to anything that increases hyperactivity.
