I got mine when I was pregnant with my son and never got sick
This year it got me pretty bad
But I’ll continue to get it for myself and my kids. Specially while pregnant

Okay, but so it’s the scare tactic behind the flu shots.
The seasonal flu shot has been given safely to millions of pregnant women over many years and has not been shown to cause harm to expecting moms or their babies.
@two.tiny.texans, I highly doubt your father got Bell’s palsy FROM the flu shot.

Flu shot works for me. I use to get the flu 2-3 times flu season November, December, January. It was horrible!!
I get my shot October 5-6 just so I can kick in... And I got my shot while pregnant or nursing.

My dad got Bells Palsy from the flu shot (according to the neurologist he saw) so we never get one. Its rare though, so don't let that scare you.

@two.tiny.texans, yes ! A few yrs ago her mouth was crooked as well as her eye all from Bell’s palsy right after she was given the flu shot

Honestly I've never gotten the flu shot and have never gotten the flu. But the people I know who have gotten the shot ended up with the flu. So I jus avoid it.

The flu shot doesn’t give you the flu. You can still get the flu even with the flu shot but not as intense or god forbid as deadly.

I did with both my pregnancies. They encourage you to get it while pregnant due to weaker immune systems
