So, I got talking about this topic at work and I feel quite guilty for not really being very organised. How many of you mums have a 'will' stating your wishes for your children if something (hopefully never) were to happen to you. Or how about having life or home insurance? None of which I have. 😕 I've just felt like they've never really been priorities /essentials, especially when only one of us is working and money is tight.

My partner has life insurance and we have house insurance but neither of us have a will, I've already told family what I want if anything was to happen but I should put in a will really xx

I had this conversation at work a few weeks ago.. I don't have life insurance nor house insurance. I don't have any money spare to be able to pay into one at the moment.. nor do I have a will - don't have anything worth leaving in a will 😂

We have life insurance for both of us it’s quite costly due to oh work being high risk. But we get a significant payout if worst would happen and a set amount each month until eldest turns 21 which we calculated over the years would cover what’s left of the mortgage. We have home and contents insurance and private health, dental and eye care as I worry we may need it one day. We have a will starting what will happen to the kids because my MIL would be a nightmare demanding them and she is the last person I would be happy with

Wow you sound very organised, that's really good. Yes I think my main concern at the moment is who my son would go to if anything happened to me and my husband

I’m paranoid of everything 😂 I just feel better knowing we have it in place. I’m a nightmare leading up to a trip, my oh just ignores me now he knows I just need time to do sort things
