So this will be baby #5 for me and I've already discussed getting my tubes tied after I have my baby with my doctor. My husband says I will regret it but I really don't think we need more than 5 kids and I know I will end up getting pregnant again. My question is how did you ladies feel after you had yours done? Is it painful? Do you have any problems because of it??

Much more simple for your husband to get snipped. Easy surgery. He'll be up and running in a coiple days if not the same day.

Thanks ladies. I will talk to him about it tonight. I def think he'll be up for it since he doesn't want me to get it done anyways.. can he reverse it if he wants too in the future?

yes he can. Some are reversable. Talk to the surgen about it

Don’t do it. Have hubby get snipped instead. Much easier and shorter recovery. I had my tubes tied and it’s been nothing but problems since

Better to have him get the procedure done. My husband did it last year and it was no big deal. He recovered over the weekend and was back to work on Monday. Technically it’s reversible but you’re not supposed to reverse it and they have you both sign something saying that you understand that it’s permanent. Are you really thinking you’ll have more kids after 5? We stopped at 2 and I’m turning 36 this month so I wouldn’t want to have more kids .
