I am sooo mad! I took my daughter to the doctor the other day because I knew she had strep throat. Of course they don’t do rapid strep anymore so he sent it off and said if we got a call yesterday to fill her prescription. I just got the call that it’s positive 🤬 she shoulda been on antibiotics 3 days ago. Now the baby is extremely sick as well. I know strep when I smell it. ( weird I know) but it has a certain smell

Yes there is a smell. Its a smell similar to tonsil stones.

They made her wait for the meds? I get being cautious of over prescribing but if it looks like strep they can give the stuff and call to say stop taking or w.e
Thats what they did for my daughter. Gave her the meds. Called us 3days later and said yep keep taking.

Yes they made her wait. I’m so mad. The doctors like I don’t see puss pockets her tonsils are swollen but no puss pockets. There were clearly puss pockets it wasn’t small white and streaking. Then I wa suppose to get the call Friday and they called when almost all the pharmacies are closing on Saturday
