Does anyone make their own egg McMuffins at home?? I bought everything I need to make them.. I’m just not sure how to cook the egg! Like I know how to fry an egg lol I just want it to be like the ones at McD’s!!
Use a small, round skillet. When you make them at home they taste a lot better. The eggs are moist and not rubbery. Plus you do not choke on the dry biscuits lol. Sorry MCd’s🤷🏻♀️
You could use a round cookie cutter (metal) to shape the eggs round if you do not have a mini skillet.

I was a manager there for 10 years. We had this round egg thing to put on top of the grill. For a while we covered it with a top and would fill the cover with water to help the egg steam. The yolk you break as well.
I have these top things from mason jars, which is the closest thing I could find that looks like the picture. Would that work?? Like just put it in a skillet and let the egg cook inside, and add water to it?
mason lids are versatile. Forgot this trick. Makes great cookie cutters.

I don’t have one of those but i do have rings to the top of mason jars! Would that be like the same concept? Lol I’m so dumb when it comes to cooking sometimes 😅

you just crack the egg and put it in there but grease it first then bake it for a lil that's how I do it 😊👍

half a teaspoon of olive oil or butter. Water will poach the egg.
