Hey ladies my daughter is opening her mouth for the breast but not enough to put her whole mouth around the nipple...any ideas or ways I can get her to latch on with giving me a big wide open mouth?
ok i seriously cant stand when ppl chew with their mouth open
okay not put my sister in law in the spot. but she seems to chew with her mouth open. and it DRIVES ME INSAINE. this makes me wanna move out more then ever. does anyone else have issues with others chewing with there mouth open????????

Okay cool thankyou yes I feel like if I can just get her to latch correctly my milk will come down even harder

Use your nipple to tickle her upper lip/nose and she should open wide. Holding your boob like a cheeseburger helps too, lol. Also if she’s hugging your boob it helps get a deeper latch

Some babies are just nipple suckers so they won’t have a big latch. My daughter was like that. She would only suck just the nipple. When she does open up point the nipple at the roof of her mouth.

Well I just started back breastfeeding I'm relactating and i stopped when she was 4 months

It might hurt again because your nipples are no longer used to her sucking on them on the regular

Okay yeah I cant get the whole nipple in her mouth but atleast it's okay for her to just have some of the nipple in her mouth but half the time it's like she playing around with it or guming it lol
