Do you think teaching a toddler to spell or educational school work it’s too much for them ?
Well my mother think it’s forcing her i told her no it’s not I want her to learn plus she’s willing to learn too . I don’t want her lack anything like I did in school I had trouble in math etc I couldn’t ask because nobody was willing to actually teach me .

Not at all. I think it’s great! If the child is interested and willing to learn I don’t see anything wrong with it at all.

No the earlier the better anyway that means when they get to preschool and kindergarten they will already know a lot !

I’m a teacher and my 15mo old already has one to one text recognition and is learning Spanish(from my husband’s parents) and ASL (from me). Never to early to teach a willing child.

No. My daughter isn’t even 2 and I teach her. We go over ABCs, numbers, colors, and shapes. We read a ton of books every day. She knows how to say half of her ABCs. She can identify some of her letters and numbers and is working on counting and letter sounds. Since I’ve started doing this for about 15-20 minutes a day she has been talking more and everything. I hope to teach her how to read in the next year. It’s never too early. People think I’m pushing her too hard but I’m not, she enjoys doing it and learning. I don’t push her to do it and some days she won’t do it. But that’s okay

If she's willing and eager to learn then there's no problem. It will just make the start of the school process easier.

They learn the most from you and are like sponges... I think it great of you to be taking time to teach her some . Good on you momma !!!!
