Need some advice don't know if I'm in the wrong. An family member want to take willow on there own for fews hours. I have mention to them willow suffer from separation aniexty and for the first time I should be around so that willow can get to know them cos she only seem them wen she was 2 month old and she no idea who they are. I did message them saying I meet up with them so willow can get to know them with me and maybe gradually willow go on her own with them eventually . They ingorne my message wen i ask to arrange an meeting they didn't rely to me .and now they demand that they take willow on there own for fews hours and I explain the situation and they jump down my throat for it. She scream wen she doesn't know who thr person . Iam In the wrong to make the decision of not letting willow go straight away wen she dont know them.

Wtf no... they’re in the wrong! She’s 7 months old ffs! You cannot just let her go with someone she doesn’t know and you should never be expected to do that! My daughter is 3 and I’m still funny about who has her! I’d tell them straight and if they don’t like it then it’s their issue!

I have the same situation, they've now stopped asking. If they cant be bothered while your there why should you let your baby girl go when ye not. There strangers to her still wether its family or not. So stick to your gun n don't let her go i did start to feel guilty on the baby cos he could of been out instead of stuck in but once again i didnt know who was there so nope i wouldn't let neither of them go. Xx

I would not upset my child to please anyone. Regardless of what they thought.

You're completely in the right, how anyone can expect to be left to look after a child they don't know is beyond me. Regardless of whether they know the parents.

They don't know her routine, her likes and dislikes, the things that comfort her. I'd definitely stick to your guns on this one, don't let anyone make you feel bad for having your child's bet interests at heart. You're her parent, her protector!

She’s your baby and what you say goes. You know her better than anyone else does so if you don’t feel she’ll be comfortable with someone she doesn’t really know then that family member should respect that. If they’re not willing to put in some effort to let her warm to them first then they shouldn’t have her. You’re completely in the right😘

@20162019 @kirikatrina @kimpton28 @tam96 @jamie123 @abbyrose @kathleenc @kelsey234 thank you everyone for the advice and I decided if they can't respect me as a mum who decide what best for willow . They just not gonna be involved in her life.

My daughter is 2y8m and I’ve never left her with anyone but her Dad and at Nursery. They have to respect your wishes, she’s your child!!!

100% not wrong at all. Personally I’d just say no to them especially if they haven’t seen her since she was 2 months old and now demanding. They have no right to kick off like that, your her mum and you say when she can stay with someone without you around they don’t tell you when xx

No your not wrong and if their jumping down your throat or getting angry about it would be enough for me to cancel any kind of meet up at all to be honest lol. Some people are weird with babies. They just wanna push them around in a pram like role play. Just stick to your guns. No means no lol
