I got the mirena and I love it so far! I’ve had it for a month. But the depo shot is definitely the devil I hated it. Made me bleed non stop and the only way to stop ite was to get on on birth control pills while being on the shot
I'm looking into Nexplanon or some type of implant. I dont trust the Mirena I've had too many people that I know have to have them removed because they dislodged and punctured their uterus. 3 of my close friends.. and no pills for me. With almost 3 kids under 3, I'll barely remember to eat, I'm sure. So I'm looking into implants...
@mississippi.queen i heard women saying for like a year they were pretty messed up from it and then some said theirs never went back to normal so i was a bit scared to go that route
@anonmomtobe I'm still going to give it a try, I think. I'd rather a heavier flow rather than scar tissue from an IUD.
Definitely stay far away from the Depo. It made me bleed for 3 months, have horrible cramps and headaches, and nausea. And now even though I only got one dose nearly four months ago, it's giving me irregular spotting. It's awful.
@massmomma16 does it cause heavier flow and worse cramping?
@anonmomtobe, no, my periods got lighter and shorter. Never had cramping.
Well use sheepskin condoms..there no safe birth control..the pill is bad, the depo, iud...all of them
