Thank you! Until @squishymommy1 explained, I didnt know that. Recently I've been using an e cig to quit cigs and was anxious and even asked SO to get rid of all of them
It’s the additives that are causing problems. A large majority of vape oil has propylene glycol which is a preservative in foods. Vaping has never actually been known to be healthier. We just have less info and history on it so from what we “know” it’s better than tobacco.
@lorrinleigh But how can it be better than tobbaco when people are dying left and right and so quickly? Not being sarcastic. I really want your perspective.
@mhbb29, it’s possibly not better. We have had less long term research on it. Tobacco has been around for a long time, we know the long term negative results. Vaping is fairly new, there’s no way to fully know what the long term effects are until we have many cases to go by.
I stopped vaping cannabis carts cause I started feeling sick. So I just gave that up completely.
We vape cannabis. We don’t buy black market carts. So we are safe 🤷🏼♀️
@squishymommy1 True. Thats a large part of why black markets exist. Yes everyone knows cigarettes kill people too. I just am so suprised about how many people are dying and how fast. I also think its strange that now all the sudden pepple are getting sick and dying.
@mhbb29, there’s little evidence that the people who got sick were *only* using nicotine carts. All evidence points to that it was THC carts that are the culprits. You cannot go off of self reporting with the people who say they’ve never touched cannabis. Which is something like 80ish people and a significant portion are from Utah. I probably wouldn’t admit to using cannabis in Utah either 😬😬😬

The media isn’t always known to report facts. They forget to mention this is referring to black market cartridges. And of course they want the Cannabis industry to “look bad”. Remember pharmaceuticals is a huge corrupt industry. There are ways to tell when you are buying if they are black market. Now everyone should know vaping in general could be risky. It’s new, no long term studies to show long term side effects. That’s a whole different topic.
