One other option is search for "staffing agency near me" if you fill a form with an agency they can help link you to jobs, it could be anything like packaging, food companies e.t.c depending on what's available in your area.

Also download the indeed or snag a job app and put your resume out there for possible employers to see.

THEN every few days call or go in to each place that had a position available and ask if they’ve had a chance to look over your application and resume and if the position has been filled or if they’re still hiring. This is the most important part.. you have to get them to remember you but without being annoying about it. If that makes sense. Keep the conversation about getting an update short and sweet.. the whole point is to show them you’re serious, keep giving them your name, and so they can see your initiative. Update your resume, print some out on some resume paper and put them in a nice folder and also make sure you have a pen and notebook with you. Get yourself ready in some nice clothes and make sure you look professional.. then go to places around town. Stores, grocery store, mall, coffee stands, car dealerships, restaurants.. literally just wherever. Try to go to as many places as you can. When you go into a place say “Hello, my name is Breanna, May I speak to a manager?” Usually they say yes, sometimes they’re not there and you have to speak to whoever is there. Then say “are there any positions available and can I get an application if possible?” Or something along those lines. Even if they don’t have a position available at the moment ask if you may have an application. Most places still have paper applications, however a few will direct you to where you can find it online. Write down all the information you get at each place. Like positions available, if you filled out an application in person or online, really just write down in your notebook any information you get at each place.. most importantly make sure you write down who you talk to! If you do get a paper application then thank them and go out to your car and fill it out. Then go back inside and hand them the application along with your resume, say “Here’s my application and my resume, thank you so much for your time I hope to hear from you soon”. Then repeat at each place. Make sure you’re nice, pleasant, professional. Then when you get home go online and do all the online applications, and then you can even look online in like Facebook, monster.com I think it’s called, or just google jobs hiring in my area and you can fill out any applications for jobs you find there too.

Bath and body works is always hiring!

Most places in the mall and other stores will be hiring holiday help!
