So I was 34 weeks and 5 days on the 2nd and went for sonogram and get told my baby was 7 LBS 6 ounces and that is big for that far alone so they think I do have gestational diabetes that's is undocumented or unfounded they did the test at 28 weeks I had no diabetes so I am confused then I get tokd they was me to repeat the test and come back in a week for another sonogram and then another at 38 weeks and depending if she's still growing at same rate I will be having a C-section and they have me seeing doctor instead of midwife or nurse practitioner
I have gestational diabetes as well but baby was 7 pounds 3 oz at my 38 week ultrasound (diet and insulin controlled). Growth scans are most accurate every 4 weeks. Also you don’t have to have a c-section if you don’t want to, they’ll probably suggest it but you can always try to have a vaginal birth first! They do induce you early for GD, I’m being induced at 39+1 on Monday but it’s not uncommon to go between 37/38 depending on your numbers and baby’s growth.
Sonograms are NOTORIOUS for false or inaccurate weight. My son was measuring “big” during all my ultrasounds during the third tri.. they scared the hell out of me saying I’m going to probably have a big baby, and that he’s measuring weeks ahead and plan on bringing 0-3m clothes and literally just went on and on. I had my son and he was like 7lbs, lost weight in the hospital and went down to 6lbs and stayed in newborn for over a month 😂 they were soooo wrong
Well supposed to induce me at 38 weeks because of blood pressure abd other stuff
I had 9.7lb and 10.10lb babies vaginally. I didn’t have gd with either baby. They even tested their sugars after they were born. Both fine. Some people just grow big babies. Don’t let them fear monger you into a csection over size.
on the 6th October I did 2 test with 2 lines , 3rd test was clear blue digital and was positive 2-3 weeks I was waiting for a month for a midwife appointment.. so yesterday I started bleeding went today for a scan and they go to me no sac .. but can see a cyst or a sac outside the womb so therefore she did another test there and it was negative .. she said if it was positive it would have been ectopic pregnancy but because it was negative she said it's miscarriage.
Has anyone else been through...
i dont have preeclampsia but they think i got the diabetes but they didnt test me for it

but first this is the test I got excited about, I
took it later yesterday morning at only 8dpo.
Did I get excited for nothing? :(
I didn't tell anyone other than preggie and hubby, I showed him the test and he was so happy it breaks my heart. Ik I still have a week before my period is even due so Ik If I was I'm very early but that negative this morning has me honestly crushed! what do you think by this test? what would you have thought? :(
What would you be thinking now if you got a neg the nex...
I had my 1st sonogram at 8 weeks on June 10th I had another sonogram on July 1st due to a scare of cramping pain (baby was fine😌) but I have my 12 week sonogram on July 10th and then another 1 when I'm 19 weeks. Is it bad to keep getting sonograms???
Failed 3hour Glucose test ?
