Baby crib question: do you guys usually place pillows around your newborn when they go to sleep or do you keep everything clear inside their baby crib (no pillows, no bear toys, etc.)

I always put bears down at the foot area ..did it with all my kids

There shouldn’t be anything in the crib. Flat surface and fitted sheet 😊

The safest way they recommend is to have absolutely nothing but a flat surface and fitted sheet. You can use a swaddle until they're able to roll/break free. Sleep sacks are awesome! 😊

Nothing but the baby in the crib 😊 anything else is a safety risk & increases your chances of SIDS. I always used the swaddle blankets they make with the velcro & they did wonders. I had them that fit all the way up till 9 months.
