Okay everyone i need some help. Does anyone know anything about low income apartments? How does it work? Can you apply at low income apartments while only working part time making 200 a month? How much would monthly rent be? Feel free to private message me! Thanks 💜
@kellelutz I once lived in a place where they had to redo the floors it got so bad.
Low income I think easier than section 8 they go off your income some places I had a job but it was under the table so I just didn’t tell them lol
It does not mAtter your income for low income housing they go by what you make with only 200 you might just have to pay 5 to 10 dollars a month
I did. 2 year waiting JUST for a waiting list of 800. So looking around 4 years shw said. I need somthing soon
@kellelutz, that’s weird our waiting list is way longer here and they get through to you within a month
I had a two bedroom apartment when my kids were little my rent was 25$ I had like one bill I just filled out a application and kept checking back and I got it 🤷🏼♀️
You can apply in hud apartments even if you have zero income but as far as low income apartments I lived in them before but we still paid 600 for a two bedroom and some you have to make a certain amount it just depends you need to call around to ask them because the ones that I did live in said I couldn’t take over the lease due to not being able to have enough to pay the dpl and such because I didn’t make enough to afford it alone so basically when I lived in income based it was with someone
Section 8, income based and project based are all practically the same thing.
Each one goes off your income, hours don't matter and jobs don't matter.
Section 8 is through each state hence the long waiting lists.
Income based and project based are based off of properties. You may move within the property but if you move outside of the property you will no longer receive assistance.
Section 8 applicants can get all three while income based and project based can not go through section 8.
