Don’t go scrolling - it was on Facebook. BUT, the amount of times I see people post pictures of their children sleeping on beds without sheets, just straight on the mattress makes me want to vom.
And they keep snapping or posting days later and it’s the same! Do they not know how unsanitary that is? 🤮

Biggest pet peeve ever!! Ughh makes me sick thinking about it. This is why we have so many sets of sheets for us and the kids.

EW i can’t! Biggest pet peeve. That or dirty pillows with no pillow case 😖 I legit wash my mattress protector, sheets and blankets once a week, and my pillows go in the wash once a month 👏🏼
Nooooo, 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ I HAVE to have sheets on both my mattress & my kids mattresses. I don’t understand how they think it’s even comfortable or sanitary 🤢

I’ll at least throw a big blanket under before letting my son sleep on it if he’s that exhausted or If I’m that exhausted or they’re all in the wash lol
Is it weird I don't like our sheets touching our mattress? We have a mattress cover on all our beds, even when the kids were babies we had them on their crib mattresses.
I have one also! We got a super nice mattress about 2 years ago, so I got a mattress cover and then sheets over top that. I just kept thinking, “what if someone spills a drink in the bed😱.”
Faye has just sheets on her mattress, but eric has a protector.
THIS! I have so many mattress protectors cause I can’t stand the sheets touching the bed or the stuff that may be on it. I mean my beds aren’t gross dirty or stained by any means.. but have you ever tried to wash a mattress?? It’s literally the one thing that doesn’t get “washed” normally you know? So whatever may be on it stays on it and that’s gross to me Lolol

It’s a necessity. Just like toilet paper or soap. It’s a matter of health, really.
You can find second hand sheet sets for $3.00 at Goodwill, or you can spend $12.98 at Walmart for a fitted sheet alone. I actually just bought a navy one a few days ago for my guest room, so I remember the exact price.
And that was for a cal king.
The smaller the size mattress, the less expensive.
Everyone needs a fitting sheet on their mattress. Just google the kind of dirt that can get in that mattress. And to have the mattress cleaned every week (like a sheet should be washed) you’re going to be wasting more money on cleaning supplies.

Seriously! I change mine on Mondays, and the kids on Thursdays. But I keep extras so they get washed throughout the week. And like last week, I let Faye eat cheese itz in her bead while reading and that was only the day after I had just changed them, so they got changed again, lol! Extras are essential!
@jennatess, yes yes they are, we change sheets weekly here also I actually just changed all the sheets and pillow cases today.

So many people say they end of kicking off the top sheet or it bunches up at the foot of the bed, but I think they’re just doing karate while they sleep. 😅. I need all the sheets, and keep a throw at the end of the bed for extra cold nights.
Just cringe worthy to me! I can’t sleep without sheets and I sure as hell don’t make my kids
I’m not one - I prefer a whole bed made up - but I know a top sheet is not a big thing with our generation. And that’s fine. Sure. But a mattress sheet protects the mattress from sweat, dead skin cells..all the nasty. Without it, you’re just rolling around in it. 🤢

I feel this! I can’t sleep on a bare mattress, and I would definitely not let my son sleep on his baby mattress without a sheet!! 😫 he’s such a hot body he would end up sticking to it, and it CANT be comfortable to sleep without a sheet.

@motherhoodchronicles, this girl who’s friends with my sister keeps snap chatting and it’s alllll of her beds! Like she snapchated her kids coming into bed with her this morning and the mattress was bare. Then she posted on Facebook a picture that she put away all the kids laundry and you can see her daughters bed with a blanket pulled back with no sheet. 😖
This is gotta be my biggest pet peeves, it’s so gross to me! And so uncomfortable 🥴 I always make sure that I have an extra set of sheets just so I don’t have a bare mattress.
