Mine too, lol he is 3 weeks old and sleeps all the time still, but I'm not complaining lol
My husband works graveyard so on his nights off in theory he *could* be awake with this kid but I normally let him sleep. I can sometimes nap during the day but with the 4 year old it’s tough. I am trying to get this baby awake more during the day. I know he’s gunna wake up every couple hours at night to nurse, I just don’t want him to be awake and stay awake at night. 😭
This is the first time I’ve had an almost term breastfed baby-it’s a different experience than my first (full term and formula fed) and my second (very premature / breastfed).
I get it, my first 2 were up every hour to eat at night, thankfully this one only wakes up once or twice lol
You’re so lucky. This one is up every hour, almost on the hour. Doesn’t matter if he nursed for 5 minutes or 20 minutes. 😭🤱🏼😵😴
I just wanted you to know I creeped your profile back to when Elliot was born! I’ve been working and not been on but your babies are so adorable!
I’m glad you like your job! That’s awesome. I won’t be returning to my previous job- originally I told my boss in the beginning of the year that we would be moving out of the area November-ish, but once I knew I would be due in October I told him I wouldn’t be returning to work because it would be pointless to take maternity leave just to come back for maybe a week or two before moving. We will be moving in the next few weeks and then I’ll take another couple months to adjust to life with three crazy boys and then start looking for work.
Breastfeeding is rough! I guess I was spoiled with my second kid. 😭
yes I saw that on your other post! Are you excited to go to a new area?
I was spoiled with my first 😭 she was a champ breastfeeding! Never an issue with anything with her. And with Josephine this is the second time I’ve had supply issues.
I’m excited to go somewhere else... I’m not as excited that we will be staying with my in laws while we get up on our feet. 😭
Isn’t it crazy that each kid can be different? And just because our bodies breastfeed once, it doesn’t guarantee that we can do it again (or vise versa). Hopefully over time things will get easier. 🤱🤞🏼

Thank you! Hopefully work hasn’t been terrible for you. I miss working. 😭

I actually really love my job lol. Thank you! My breastfeeding journey has been a bit rough with Josephine lately though. 😕 so I feel you on that post you’d made about breastfeeding.
Do you plan on going back to work sometime in the future?
