My MIL told me today ....
"I know you don't like me! But living in apt. And 5min walking distance like this is good for you guys so I can take care of babies sometimes. But you guys bought a house 20min driving distance, lot of house expenses, Far from me. Not good!!!"
And I said " well, of course it s convenient to live close by. However, not everyone live 5mi. Walking distance like us and living in APT. I want my kids to have enough space to play and have fun."
My MIL is angry that I took her son and kids to far away (20min driving) from her. Because I dont like her...telling in front of my face... lol......
Unbelievable.....how would I like her hearing all this like nothing....I am a human....my family live 14 hr by airplane...I am the only one here...

@chanty09 yep. She got divorced when my husband was 2yrs old. She didnt go through what i have been doing. Shebhas ko respect of my marriage at all. I learned that over 10yrs.

Lol same shit I had to deal with. Until one day I got my attitude and spoke up . My mil move to Florida and I live in Connecticut so my ass would remain here because my mom live in New York which is one hour away and I would not move over there hell no plus she fake as fuck and I dont trust her

@jina1 yeah I been with my husband for about 10 year but u know at the end of the day they never going to respect.. so we as women have to keep distance I wish u the best love keep ur head up high
@chanty09 I agree. 10yrs. Just same relationships! The end of day, the arm only bends inside(blood family), not outside.
Most of my family lives 20 minutes or more away and I see them every week sooo I don't see what her problem is
She calls 5-10times a day. Living 5min walking distance. Thats what she wants.......no privacy for me.
My family and my in laws are back in PA and we're 4/5hrs drive

I feel this but I don’t hate my mil. I just disagree on some of the things she says. Hubs and I are planning to move in the next few years closer to his work which is about 40 mins to an hour away and she had a break down. I just tried simply telling her I live five minutes away from you now and you don’t ever come over now so what’s the difference.
I know she loves to live close by. But they speak 3rd languages that i dont understand and i feel outside when she is around..if i ask she says i am being nosey. How can i feel comfortable over 10yrs..

No. We are hust living close by (5min walking) and moving to other house (20min driving)
