It depends on their development, like can they sit unsupported and hold their head up. Some pediatricians give the ok at 4 months, some at 6 months.

I gave my son food at 5 months old even though his ped told me he could start at 4 months. My preemie twins just started solids at 7.5 months (3 months adjusted age)

Solids are not needed until 1yr of age but you could start as early as 6 months of age and no earlier.

I believe😆 but some doctors, parents say otherwise.

Just do your research and go from there.
