Since October is pregnancy & infant loss awareness month, I wanted to share my story about my beautiful angel. I was diagnosed with incompetent cervix(IC) back in April of 2018. It was detected at my 20w anatomy scan. My cervix was funneling and I was 1 cm dilated at the time, long story short I had an emergency cerclage placed and it lasted 3 weeks before I went into preterm labor again and dilated through the stitch. (5cm and tore my cervix) they cut my stitches out, 30 minutes later I caught an infection and then following that I delivered my baby boy. He made it 13 days in the NICU before going home to heaven. He was perfect. He was innocent, had such personality, active and mostly he was a fighter. I am a proud mom of a boy, who is now an angel. I love and miss my baby boy so much, but my little girl now will always have her big brother as her guardian angel. 💙💗
