I know someone in Miami who specializes in moving things world wide ,I’ll call her now and ask what’s best option, have u guys thought to rent a haul yourself and attach your cars to it ??

I did the uhaul version of pods when I moved back from Florida. I had to pack it myself but I think there was an option to have someone pack my stuff. It was the cheapest and easiest way for me because I had a new born at the time
Have you looked into PODS? They were going to charge us around $2,000 to ship everything from NY to GA but we just ended up using a U-Haul truck & ended up paying $1200 for 5 days!

Put a listing on uship and let people bid on the job. Also get rid of a whole lot of it. Some things are just cheaper to buy new once you get there than pay to move

@bill_nye_the_russian_spy, moving companies wanted so much to do it. A lot of them even charge by weight or square foot so it’s really hard to estimate. Our 3 br house move from VA to GA was estimated at over 6k with a lot of potential for going over that with movers but we got a guy on uship who did it with some friends over a weekend for 3k. We did end up getting rid of a ton of stuff though too
Or pay a shit ton for a moving company to pack and move it
That’s what we were looking at but we want to pay to have them drive it out we have a 4000 dollar budget
@bill_nye_the_russian_spy, It was 5500 for us to move back here and were not as far up north. But it could be the company we used. I’m not sure what’s normal. His job paid for it.
I’m originally from Massachusetts also. Luckily I moved to nyc which was only a uhaul drive away.
