I testedwith an 88 cent a week before my period was due and got a negative. Then I tested again the day it was due and got a dark positive

I recommend waiting until closer to when your period is due. Each test is different with the amount of hormone it needs to read a positive. The first response are usually good for early detections. Everyone’s body is different and produces the hcg hormone at different rates, so you may not have enough right now for a test to read it as a positive. Try to wait it out. I know it’s hard.
