First time ever I got summoned for jury duty 😳 I really don’t mind it, I think it’s kinda cool, but I will be 37wks pregnant 😬 They will probably will look at me🤰🏻very pregnant and be like 👋🏻bye! And I’ll 👋🏻😏✌🏻
Also, it kinda makes me feel more like a real adult 😅 I’ve been jury summoning age for almost 8yrs and this is the first time!

Postponing probably won’t help. Because then I’ll have an infant for the next year. I honestly don’t care, but I’ll probably call and ask them if they even want me to come still

I had to go in at about 36 weeks pregnant, and it turned out to be for a murder trial 😂. When it was my turn to stand before the judge for an excuse, it was obvious how big I was. I said while I would like to serve, I am due any week now and I think it would prove a distraction. Everyone laughed and he wished me luck then excused me of course!!! And after you have baby, you can mail in an excuse for breastfeeding and then after that you can mail in an excuse if you are the primary caregiver of a young child.

I always get it out of them by checking the box on the back that list reasons you can’t go lol “financial hardship” works every time or no daycare for my kids
