Had doctors appointment today for 40 weeks, I’m 3 CM dilated, she asked if I wanted her to strip the membranes I asked if it hurt and said noooooo when she said it would 😂😂. I’m a big wuss. But if I don’t go into labor by Friday, my induction is scheduled for 7 am. The doctor said she has a feeling I’ll be in labor before that but you never know!

Membrane sweeps never bothered me but they also never put me in labor. Pitocin (the drug they use to induce) on the other hand was a killer!

I’ve heard that about pitocin! I’m certainly nervous. My first pregnancy the epidural slowed me down so they gave me pitocin but of course I couldn’t feel it as bad because of the epidural. I’m pretty much just a nervous nelly whether I go into labor on my own or get induced. Ughhhhh lol

The cervix checks hurt enough as it is lol! I’m like hell I don’t like the 20-30 seconds it takes for all that to go down let alone a few minutes of membrane sweeping. Though I guess it potentially could’ve started something with labor and maybe I wouldn’t still be so miserable 😂😂
