Social Security be lying like a mf. They told me back in January that my daughter should receive benefits within 60 days. They even had a number to call incase she didn't. I set her up an account and they never called or sent anything. I called and they said they'll have someone review the case. Here it is almost October so I went up there and they said it's in processing at another place and all they can do is ask that it be expedited. I ask the lady for the number for this "processing place" and she said she didn't know because they can only send messages
BRUH. She didn't really need the money at first but she needs fall clothes, pull ups etc and we're expecting another baby. It sucks because her sisters get benefits but she doesn't. I told my mom and she's like well she'll get back pay when it's approved. Like ugh I don't care about that. Like JG Wentworth it's her money and she needs it now! Lmao I'm so done with that place

Are you sure you spoke with someone at social security? It’s common for people to scam people by pretending to be someone they aren’t. Not saying that’s the case, but I’d be watching things closer.

I believe so. I called the number from the paper they gave me at my appointment in January. Then I went in person again. I doubt they would put a scam number on a stamped letter an hand it to me on person but now a days you never know. I'm just mad it's taking so long when they said 60 days

just be consistent in following up. Sadly, there usually isn’t much they can do as it moves down the line. I’d follow up like once a week!

@littleonemorning I understand. I spent 6 dollars going up there in one day. I waited for hours and had to leave to go to my doctor's appointment then go back again. I'll keep calling but I can't afford to keep going up there

If your not happy with their service “always speak to a supervisor before leaving from Jan until now is long ,they are always having new rules/new laws also that go into place ,my mom has had to go several times when my father passed away . Social security doesn’t just give benefits to minors if not justified by their guidelines.

I think it goes by the disability and the level of it I’ve heard 🤷🏼♀️ like in a wheelchair etc

My daughter's not disabled her father is, I just don't get why they had me come in and say that she will get it. I would have had better luck with trying to get child support

Dose both of ur daughter's have a disability because i do and i get social security and tnaf and i use it on my son and myself and other things i need

Their father is disabled and I was getting cash assistance but I stopped cos I felt like we didn't need that much anymore.
