Next wellness checkup I have to decided if I want the flu shot for my son. He will be 6 months then .. Help did you give your kids flu shot this young?
I have to make this decision for myself before my next dr appt at 28 weeks pregnant. My BFF said to ask for the flu shot that doesn’t have preservatives in it but she said not all dr offices have that kind. I’ve never had the flu shot before but being 🤰🏻 I’m going to get it since I’ve ask my dr a million questions to understand the facts & statistics behind the reasoning.

Yup bc it was around that time when the flu was coming around hard and yes 6 months is when it is first offered.

I’m very allergic to eggs, so no. I also have my issues around this particular vaccine. This is the one shot I tell others to do your own reassarch on and decide for yourself and to make sure you have time off saved just in case. I’ll stick to what has worked the last 22 years. Lysol,bleach and monthly chiro adjustments. Only been sick twice in 22 years and I worked in the medical field for 12 years before I was a momma so it can be done.

My husband works in the medical field and has a high chance of coming into contact with the flu so we always get it
Do people really not leave their house for months?
If you get your kids vaccinated, why not just get the flu shot also? - I get it every year, my kids get it every year.

No, last year he had a bunch at shots at one time and I didnt want to add another. Plus, we rarely go anywhere during flu season and he isnt in school/daycare.

I got it for my kids. I even got it for myself for the first time in my whole life this past Friday.
I didn’t and still don’t but my kids are not in school or day care we do not leave the house during flu season or have company If they were in school I probably would think about it really good.
You’re going to get very mixed answers on this. A lot of people are against it. My kids did get it.

My friend just told me that once you have your baby they get a hepatitis b shot and flu shot automatically. I don't know how I feel about the flu shot.🤔
