I did one when he turned one, then only gave him his own slice for his second.

I gave him a cupcake on his second. At that age, he was still uncoordinated and slobbery...his own cake was a GREAT idea!! Haha!

No. I just did it for the first one. They're kinda expensive for the smash cake to be extra . Plus my son never ate the whole piece of cake anyways when I gave him a slice 😂 or the ice cream lol

I did for her 2nd. I didn’t want her spitting on everyone else’s cake trying to blow out candle. And glad I did because she quickly put her face in the cake and took a bite. Much better for pics as well

I made my kid like a 5 inch round smash cake his first birthday and a smaller personal cake maybe 3 inches for his 2nd birthday. we didn’t have a 2nd birthday party so what the heck 🤷🏻♀️😂

u can make ur own smash cake, it’s cheap that way👌🏼😌 I am going be making my daughters smash cake myself.
